Euro 2024: Germany v Denmark Halted By Storm

The game was deadlocked at 0-0 at the time, however Oliver had disallowed Nico Schlotterbeck’s early header from a corner after a foul in the build-up.

The players were led to the changing rooms at 8.38pm BST while heavy rain and then hailstones gave ground staff another headache and saw fans flocking away from the lower tiers closest to the pitch in order to find shelter higher up the stands.

The players eventually returned to the field for a five-minute warm-up shortly before play resumed at 9pm BST
