The committee is led by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and has 16 members, with 8 representing the Federal Government and 8 from the Trade Unions.
Their task is to negotiate and finalize the salary changes resulting from the National Minimum Wage Act, 2024.
In May, the government, along with labor unions and the organized private sector, agreed on a minimum wage of ₦70,000.
