It is ringing wedding bells this year for many celebrities and public figures. Last month, Modupe Oreoluwa Sanwo-Olu, the beautiful daughter of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, wedded her lover, Oladele Johnson, at a high-profile wedding ceremony at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Lagos.

In attendance at the wedding ceremony were Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and wife and many others.

The white wedding came a week after the couple had their wedding engagement, which was more low-key.

Still on wedding, in March, actress Omoni Oboli had expressed gratitude to her Maker as her son finally tied the knot.

Omoni shared a photo of her, her husband, and the new couple with a message of gratitude. She revealed that her son got married on a cold winter evening, but it was very warm in their hearts. She noted how they had the most beautiful wedding ever with family and friends.

Similarly, Big Brother Naija Level Up housemate, Queen, held her wedding introduction in her hometown in Akwa Ibom, which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Nini Singh. Following the wedding introduction, Queen bragged about her bride price being paid in full, as she officially changed her name to Mrs Queen Oyekanmi Adedeji.

On Saturday, March 17th, the reality star and her man, David, legally tied the knot at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos, with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance. The civil wedding was followed by a party with some of Queen’s colleagues in attendance.
