The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has accused him of laundering more than 400 billion naira in money, and she urged him to carry out the action if it will exonerate him of the charges.

In her response to this video, she stated that the previous governors of Rivers State had wasted the resources of the state for a period of twenty-four years and that the people of Rivers State do not want the waste of their resources to continue under the administration of Siminalayi Fubara.
She went on to add that people want their government to be efficient, that they want to be safe, and that they want their schools and hospitals to be safe.
Additionally, she made it clear to Governor Siminalayi Fubara that he ought to prioritise the management of the state rather than squandering time and resources on an investigation into Nyesom Wike’s administration.
In her words, “If you know that this probe is so that you will expose what happened to the over 400 billion that the EFCC said they are waiting for, if it is to vindicate you and point them to where the money is, then hurry.”
“That is what we want; let our money be given back to us so that we can use it to build our state.”
