Andrews is now alleged to have coordinated the kidnapping. Abigail was seized from a hotel in Aba, Nigeria, on April 27, 2024.
According to her brother, Andrews persuaded Celine to bring Abigail to his house before the wedding, but they were kidnapped by a gang led by Andrews instead.
Prior to her trip, Abigail, who owns a pet business, had planned a business deal with Celine that involved purchasing dogs in Nigeria to sell in Ghana.
She had given her whereabouts and identified Andrews as her captor in WhatsApp communications to her brother.
Abigail holds an HND in Procurement and Supply from Takoradi Technical University and formerly lived in Dubai with her husband before temporarily moving to Ghana and Nigeria.
Her family is desperate for help from authorities in both Ghana and Nigeria to secure her safe release.
