Hardship Protests: Tinubu Will Not Watch His Government Toppled – Fayose Warns

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has warned that those planning to topple the government of President Bola Tinubu under the guise of protests should desist from such, saying the federal government will not watch this happen.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Fayose who spoke on Monday evening during a live programme on Channels TV, Politics Today, said this while responding to questions, noting that the problems of herdsmen, Boko Haram and other issues bedeviling the nation did not start under the new administration.

He said he was not against the August 1 protests, but said that it behooves on protesters to conduct themselves peacefully and not turn it to a violent one.

The former governor said no government will seat down and allow citizens destroy businesses or loot shops calling it protests.

In his words, “aggrieved Nigerians should not copy a small Kenya that does not have Christian-Muslim and Southern-Northern tendencies.”

According to him, Nigerians should give the president till midterm of his administration before they judge his performance.

“Nigerians said Goodluck jonathan is bad, Buhari is bad and now Tinubu too is bad,” adding that then the country needs to go to heaven to get God to come down and turn things around.
