According to Jean’s father he was born as a normal child but as he grew older his mother noticed a small pimple on his neck that grew bigger everyday. His parents took him to the hospital for a diagnosis but they were asked to pay a huge amount of money for his treatment.
Jeans parents were poor and they also came from a humble background. Therefore they couldn’t afford his treatment and they took him back home. His parents said that the pimple grew bigger into a big tumor on his neck that made his life unbearable.
His parents said that he was always in constant pain and he had to use countless painkillers that his parents couldn’t afford. He also faced a lot of bullying from school and at home from children who laughed at his condition.
His father said that at one time Jean told her he was in a lot of pain and he wished death on himself and this made her burst into tears.
