Playing host to the party executives, who were led by the APC Kabba/Bunu LGA chairman, Mr Solomon Jemibawodo at the council chamber, Kabba, Zacchaeus reminded them that the era of politics was over, hence the need for all party members to join hands to serve the people.
The Chairman appreciated all the ward chairmen for their leadership prowess in stabilizing the party structure at the grassroots for many years.
Earlier, the APC Kabba/Bunu LGA party chairman expressed his delight with the level of development, especially in the areas of security and community services, noting “Kabba/Bunu LGA is lucky to have a man who is focused and have the interest of the people at heart”.
He, however, urged the chairman to remain resolute in executing sustainable projects across the local government area.
While thanking the caretaker chairman for all his support and words of encouragement, Mr Solomon, said “don’t listen to rumors. Do all that you can. My prayer is that you will leave Kabba/Bunu LGA better than you met it”.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael thanked every party executives and members for supporting the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in his quest to reposition the state, assuring that he will always support the governor when and where necessary, submitting that “the success of the present administration is my success”.
“I want to promise you that I will be the chairman of all. I will continue to be fair, just and equitable”, the Chairman said.
Also, Iluke ward chairman, Mr Gabriel Obaju stressed that the coming of the chairman is divine and impactful. In your few months in office, you have enshrined your names in the history book and your footprints in the sand of time.
Hon (Barr.) Boluromi Emmanuel, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kabba charged party members to show more support, dedication and commitment to work together as a team to move our party forward.
Responding, APC Kabba/Bunu LGA secretary, Mr Charles Olorunmaiye, commended the caretaker chairman for his dogged and proactive steps taken to ensure that our environment is more safe, secure and peaceful. He thanked the party executives and members for staying the course in the face of intimidation.
He urged the party executives to continue to give their maximum support to the present administration for more dividends of democracy.
