Esther says that life was not easy. She was a nursery teacher, and the payment was little, but she managed to start her own school, which did very well. Her husband also got a good job.
After six years of marriage, her husband started taking alcohol and having affairs with other women. He would spend days without coming back home. Whenever she needed to know where he was, she would call his friend.
She claims that every time she ran away and rented a house somewhere else, he would follow her, and they would get back together.
During her son’s rite of passage to manhood, her husband was not at home. Every time she called him to come and take their son to the church, he never picked up the phone. As usual, she called his friend, who took the boy to the church.
Esther says that she decided to quit her marriage and take care of her kids alone. When COVID-19 emerged and schools were closed, she had no one to pay her rent or buy food for the kids.
She claims that her husband’s friend had been a great help to her. As a human, she has feelings, and without knowing it, she became pregnant. When she visited the hospital, the doctor broke the news to her.
She gave birth to twins last December. She says that they belong to her ex-husband’s friend, but she is unable to break the news to him because she feels it’s so embarrassing.
