Esther says that life was not easy. She was a nursery teacher, and the payment was little, but she managed to start her own school, which did very well, and her husband got a good job.
After six years of marriage, her husband started taking alcohol and having affairs with other women. He could spend days without coming back home, and every time she needed to know where he was, she would call his friend.
The husband was mostly away from home, and this worsened the situation during their son’s circumcision. The father didn’t show up, and Esther ended up looking for his friend to stand in for him.
Esther and the friend were together, and they ended up enjoying themselves. She conceived without knowing. Three months later, she went to the hospital feeling unwell and found out she was pregnant with twins.
She was so shocked and even tried committing suicide due to her challenges but didn’t succeed. She later gave birth to her twin babies, and her husband is still unaware that the kids are not his. Her marriage is still on and off, and her school is failing because of the debts she has taken so far.
She says that her newborn babies are closer to her house help than to her. She wishes someone could adopt the twins because she feels she will never give them motherly love.
