Felix Emenike, a Nigerian man, has cried out for help after being refused access to his SportyBet account, which holds a whopping N14 million that he won. While speaking with PUNCH via a video interview, Emenike stated that he had been using the account without any issues, depositing and withdrawing money as needed. Emenike revealed that he first noticed the issue on February 16th, when he attempted to withdraw his funds but was denied access.
He claimed that he reached out to SportyBet’s customer care via email, but despite their promise to get back to him, he has yet to receive a response.
In a desperate bid to retrieve his money, Emenike also stated that he spoke with a customer care representative, who advised him to be patient and assured him that he would receive his funds. However, weeks have passed, and Emenike has yet to receive his money.
According to his words, “I have up to 14m into that SportyBet account which I tried to withdraw and they logged me out. I have an issue with SportyBet which I have an account with. I have been putting money into that account, with no issue. And I have been winning, no issue. So I have up to 14m into that SportyBet account which I tried to withdraw and they logged me out.
“On February 16th, I got back to them, stating that I tried to withdraw but they didn’t allow me to withdraw. They responded that they will get back to me which I have the email, till now they have not gotten back to me.
“I spoke with one of the customers care which is a lady. When I spoke with the lady, she said I should be patient and they will make sure I get the money. Till now, they haven’t given me the money. I want that money from the SportyBet. I am not looking for trouble, what I want is my money.”
