The Super Eagles striker has impressively netted 20 goals across all competitions for Xabi Alonso’s side, earning him widespread acclaim among football enthusiasts.

In addition to his on-field performances, Boniface’s distinctive goal celebration has also gained significant popularity.

During Real Madrid’s trophy parade over the weekend, defender Antonio Rudiger replicated Boniface’s goal celebration, further cementing its recognition.

Carlo Ancelotti’s squad secured the La Liga title following Barcelona’s 4-2 defeat to Girona last weekend.

Responding to Rudiger’s post on Instagram, Boniface humorously remarked, “I charge now for this,” to which Rudiger replied, “but please in Naira.”

This isn’t the first time Rudiger has mimicked Boniface’s celebration; he previously replicated it after scoring for Germany in a friendly against Mexico back in October 2023.

Several other players, including Jeremie Frimpong and Xavi Simons, have also recently emulated the celebration.
