A Nigerian bride, by the name Jessica Okah, has recounted how her pastor ordered her to remove her eyelashes in the middle of her church wedding ceremony, according to Punch. Jessica, who narrated her experience on TikTok, disclosed that the pastor had raised issues with her use of eyelashes before the wedding day but she felt it would be overlooked during the wedding and so completely forgot about it.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
She said, “What would you do if your pastor asked you to remove your lashes in the middle of your wedding ceremony? It was like a movie, but it was happening for real.”
Continuing her nation, Jessica said it was after her in-laws (husband’s family) had accepted her that her pastor remembered that he had told her to remove the eyelashes before the wedding day.
Speaking about why she didn’t remove the lashes before her wedding day as demanded by the pastor, Jessica said:
“Let me not lie, I didn’t have a problem with it anyway, but truthfully, I forgot.
“He said before the service had to continue, I had to go and remove the lashes.”
The video she shared captured the moment her pastor stopped the wedding proceedings because of her eyelashes and only resumed the ceremony after she had taken them off.
