As part of the activities marking this year’s International Youth Day (IYD), the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is to organise an essay competition for young persons between the ages 16 to 25, on the theme, “Co-creating The Nigeria of our dream.”....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
ADC National Chairman Ralphs Nwosu, in a statement yesterday, also disclosed that the party will host a series of town hall meetings for the Nigerian youths on the them, “You Spoke; We Listened”, adding that the ADC Continental Youth Council would equally be inaugurated.
Nwosu who noted that this year’s IYD coincided with the 10-day protest by the Nigerian youths against bad governance in the country, said:
“The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has always stood in solidarity with the youth.” He stated that the records of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed that for two consecutive elections, 2019 and 2023, ADC fielded the greatest number of youths and women in Nigeria’s general elections.
