Mr. Jauro emerged as the overall best participant in the EIMC 17 project and has been honoured as a Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi) on December 7, 2024.
Spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, said the theme for EIMC 17 is “Artificial Intelligence, Security, and Emerging Economies in Africa: Challenges and Prospects.”
“This prestigious course attracted participants from 28 Nigerian agencies and seven agencies from five African countries, including Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, and Rwanda.
“Participants, who are senior public servants at the Deputy Director level or its equivalent in the armed forces, will undergo a rigorous ten-month programme at the institute.
“Successful candidates will be awarded the Fellow Security Institute (fsi) designation, contingent upon their performance in learning and character,” the statement said.
Benjamin explained that the course was designed to equip participants with the knowledge necessary to tackle complex security challenges in their respective agencies and countries, while also fostering inter-agency synergy and international collaboration.
The Board extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Jauro for this remarkable achievement at EIMC 17.
