On August 21, Jerry shared a video of their reunion after two years apart.
In the video, his excitement was palpable as he said, “Guess who is in the building? Princess is back in Nigeria! Abuja airport we are leaving. So nice to have you.”
He captioned the post, “Welcome home, my darling daughter @pryncessamilo. It’s been two years.”
On October 4, Jerry lost his daughter to the grip of death.
The actor expressed his grief on Instagram, sharing how this loss has profoundly affected him.
His tribute included a plea for God to grant eternal peace to his “angel,” though he chose not to reveal the circumstances surrounding her passing.
He poignantly captioned the post, “You took a part of me with you. I’m so speechless,” accompanied by black and red heartbreak emojis.
Jerry shared a sombre video from the funeral on his Instagram page.
The video shows him dressed in black, wearing sunglasses and standing before a white coffin while elderly women sing solemn hymns.
He captioned the post, “Good nightMyAngel. May your soul rest in perfect peace. Amen,” once again using heartbreak emojis.
Condolences poured in from fans and fellow celebrities.

Despite his fame, Jerry Amilo has kept his personal life private.
Little is known about his wife but it is known that he is married and had three children until the tragic loss of Princess.
