The session includes several key figures from the Anambra APC, such as the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, Anambra APC chairman Chief Basil Ejidike, and Deputy National Organising Secretary Nze Chidi Duru.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been officially disclosed, sources suggest it was called to discuss adopting Ubah as the APC’s governorship candidate for the upcoming election.
Ubah, re-elected to the Senate under the Young Progressive Party (YPP) banner, defected to the APC in October 2023, citing internal disagreements within the YPP as the reason for his switch.
