He expressed frustration over calls for an investigation into his activities, emphasizing his contributions to the growth of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Wike stood by his belief in power rotation to the South, challenging those who question his integrity.

Wike remained adamant that despite the controversies, he will not engage in a war of words with his critics, choosing instead to let his record speak for itself.

In the interview from 1:42, He Stated. “I wasn’t a bad person when I championed for the Ijaw man to be Governor. I’ve become a bad person simply because there are issues and I kept quiet. There’s nothing Chief Edwin Clark and other Statesmen have not said and I said I’ll never reply to anything. If there’s anybody who contributed to the growth of PDP, till today, it’s me. He said they should investigate me. Investigate me for what? He was one of those who were talking about the Southern Presidency. He was one of those who said power must rotate and go to South. So what’s the crime I’ve committed, that I also believed in that”
