This has precipitated apprehension regarding the future of these caretaker committee personnel and the assurance of receiving their entitled benefits, specifically in states like Ondo, Anambra, Jigawa, Rivers, Zamfara, Benue, Plateau, Abia, Enugu, and others listed.

However, Comrade Udoagha Ani, President of NULGE, expressed concerns over potential ramifications in Enugu should allocations to LGAs be disrupted.

However, he remains optimistic about the situation, highlighting the absence of caretaker committees in Enugu and the current administration by civil servants.

He is hopeful that Enugu may be spared from the consequences faced by other states affected by the Supreme Court’s decision.
