After a year on the job, she met a man from Lokoja, and they got married after six months of dating. Unfortunately, her husband lost his job a year into their marriage, leading them to relocate to the village due to financial struggles and his epilepsy condition.
In the village, they took on manual jobs and were blessed with three children. Tragically, one evening after returning home from work and having dinner together, Joy’s husband passed away immediately after they had sex. Unaware of his death, she slept beside him until morning, realizing the devastating truth when he didn’t wake up.
The postmortem results indicated that he died from epilepsy and had bitten his tongue. After the burial, her in-laws accused her of neglecting their son and kicked her out. Now, she is seeking job opportunities to support her children.
