Florence has narrated how her husband slept with her two days after she gave birth, and after she complained, he told her the reason why he married her. According to her, she met her husband when she was working as a housegirl in a church where she was attending to the son of her pastor. She says that after she got pregnant, her mother-in-law used to wake her up very early in the morning to work, as she used to call her lazy. After she gave birth and went home after two days, her husband slept with her that night, and she had refused, but he forced himself on her.
She says that after she complained, her husband said that was the reason he married her. She felt so bad, and she decided to share with her mother-in-law, who was against her and asked her whether she wanted her son to go and sleep with her.
Florence says that she decided to leave her marriage when the baby was only two months old since things got worse, and whenever she would do anything wrong, her mother-in-law and her husband used to beat her. One day, she was even admitted to the hospital.”
