According to him, the president of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, is ready to sit on the roundtable to make peace based on international law and the United Nations General Assembly Resolution to put an end to the Israel Hamas war.

The ambassador stated this on Thursday at a press briefing in Abuja.

According to the ambassador, 96 per cent of Gazans are facing high malnutrition, including 49,300 pregnant women.

He added that the Israeli bombardments have claimed the lives of 10,449 secondary school students, 613 university students, 419 school teachers and staff, and 111 university professors and staff.

Additionally, 16,250 school students were injured and 625,000 students have been denied the right to education.

He said 174 Palestinian media correspondents were killed and 190 were injured, with 87 media outlets destroyed.

He accused Israel of using all means and measures to stifle the truth and the voice of reality on the ground.
