News Direct earlier reports  that Oluremi Tinubu launched the National Unity Fabric on Monday and made the cash presentation of N25 million to Miss Mofiyinfoluwa during a ceremony that held at the State House, Abuja.

According to Mrs Tinubu, the project was designed to foster creativity, enhance unity and love, support local enterprises to boost the nation’s economy. She announced that the selected best fabric would be used officially in October 1, during the nation’s independence celebration.

The public’s reaction to the fabric has been mixed as some viewed it as an early strategic move, while others express concern over its timing, especially in light of collective dissatisfaction against this current administration’s policies, which many believe have exacerbated the hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians.
