According to Police Chief General Francisco Marbil, the victims, including girls as young as 12, have shared harrowing accounts of their experiences.

“The abuse they endured shows an alarming pattern of manipulation and exploitation,” the police chief said in a statement.

The victims were part of Quiboloy’s “inner-circle pastorals” and have been crucial in uncovering the full extent of his alleged crimes.

THE WHISTLER  reported that Quiboloy, the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ church, is facing a raft of charges in the Philippines and the United States, including sex trafficking, money laundering, and child abuse.

Quiboloy also figures on the most wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States, where he was charged with running a sex-trafficking operation that threatened young victims with “eternal damnation” and physical abuse, among other crimes.

He has denied wrongdoing, but police are verifying information provided by multiple victims to bolster the cases against him.

The justice ministry has acknowledged the extradition treaty with the United States but stated that Quiboloy must first face trial and serve any sentence in the Philippines before any extradition request is granted.

Quiboloy’s influential connections, including his friendship with former President Rodrigo Duterte, have raised concerns about the case. Police are urging other victims to come forward, assuring them of protection and vowing to “leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice”.
