There was chaos in Katsina State after police officers, attempting to disperse protesters, mistakenly shot one of their own. Eyewitnesses reported that the chaotic scene began when police officers began firing at protesters, resulting in one officer being hit by his colleagues.
The officer was seen lying in a pool of blood surrounded by a crowd.
