During his time abroad, President Tinubu participated in a series of meetings designed to enhance Nigeria’s diplomatic ties and promote investment opportunities. His agenda included discussions with key international leaders, focusing on economic collaboration and security partnerships to strengthen Nigeria’s position on the global stage.

The President originally departed Abuja for his working vacation on Wednesday, October 2, as part of his annual leave. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was noted that Tinubu would be using the time for both work and reflection on his administration’s economic reforms.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave. He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms. He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement read.

On October 11, the President traveled from the UK to Paris for further engagements, according to his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.

Upon his return, he was received by a host of dignitaries, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and various ministers, including Wale Edun (Finance) and Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Budget and Economic Planning). The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, were also present to welcome the President back to the capital.
