The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday summoned an emergency security meeting. THE WHISTLER gathered that the meeting was aimed at reviewing activities of the #EndBadGovernance protesters and security of the territory.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Earlier, while meeting the protesters, Wike had commended them on their peaceful protest but pleaded that they come to the table for dialogue.
However, reports of violence emerged later in the evening in some areas of the FCT.
Wike did not however, brief journalists on the outcome of the FCT Security Council.
It was also reported that the minister was also spotted at the Presidential Villa in Abuja earlier in the day.
