Kevin was a part of the Monza team who suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia, it was his second appearance for the first team both coming in the same competition.
Prior to the game he described his playing style in an interview with Sport Media set via tuttomercatoweb, sharing some characteristics which are similar to that of his father Obafemi during his playing days.
“My most important characteristics are speed and dribbling. They are two things that I always exploit and that I can use on the counterattack or trying to create something from nothing, I like to be imaginative,” Martins said.
“I always try to give my best and give something more with my characteristics, my dribbling, my one-on-one, creating some opportunities.”
