Tension In Rivers As Angry Youths Shut Down Major Oil Service Companies, Make Demands

The two companies are the contractors handling the project.

The youths defied the early morning rain, which had lasted several hours to barricade the gate of the companies, preventing entry and exit of staff.

They are demanding implementation of the Local Content Development Act 2017 and the inclusion of host communities in the project.
