This post stirred a flurry of reactions from fans of both singers, including spats from other singers like Kizz Daniel and Tekno who went at each other.
Davido, on Monday evening, then took to the X platform to tweet what seemed a subtle dig at the Grammy winner, stating that his songs are no longer recognised.
Amid Davido’s series of posts, Wizkid wrote: “U know what..no point. delusional *** pray for y’all”.
Davido then directly quoted the Wizkid’s post, labeling him a “sick man” in response to Wizkid’s earlier remark about them being delusional.
On his part, Kizz Daniel dug up and old tweet of Tekno debunking a report that he received royalties worth N1 billion from his collaborative song with Kizz Daniel, insinuating that Kizz Daniel’s money isn’t on the same level as his.
He claimed that he “rescued” Tekno’s dying career with the song.
Tekno also responded to Kizz Daniel’s outburst, warning the ‘Showa’ singer not to provoke him or else he will feel his wrath.
Speaking in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Paulo Okoye described their actions as shameful, asking them to stop fighting on social media.
The Upfront Manager wrote: “This going to STOP now!!This Shameful!!GrowUpMEN!!! Please STOP. @wizkidayo @davidoYou guys bigger than This Stop. Also @kizzdaniel @teknomiles STOP STOP Let’s Love Lead.”
