Senate President Godswill Akpabio made the announcement during a session in the Senate on Tuesday, expressing optimism that the commission would drive development at the grassroots level.
He stated, “Let me also inform my colleagues that Mr. President has assented to the North-Central Development Commission establishment bill 2024, aimed at bringing development to the grassroots.
We congratulate the people of the North-Central region and wish them continued progress and, especially, peace as we advance in nation-building.”
