The tragic events unfolded on February 12, 2024, when Aisha went missing while on her way to Islamiyya school. Her father, Mr. Saidu Dahiru, reported her disappearance to the Zaria City police station, detailing the abduction by her cousin brother, Abdulazeez Idris, who later demanded a staggering ransom of ₦8,000,000 for her release.

The case was swiftly transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of SCID Kaduna, where diligent efforts led to the apprehension of the perpetrator in Makarfi Local Government.
