However, Naija Confra confirms that Fabiyi was found unconscious after the attack, and the assailants left, mistakenly believing he was dead. Bystanders transported him to a hospital, where he regained consciousness. His family is now planning to move him to a better medical facility for further treatment.
Contrary to rumors, Fabiyi is not the leader of the Eiye cult. While he is allegedly associated with Eiye, he was targeted by members of the Aye cult. It has been reported that Fabiyi, despite it being his birthday and not scheduled to be on campus, was called out by an unidentified person before the attack.
The incident has sparked tensions, with Eiye members reportedly threatening retaliation. Local residents are advised to remain cautious, and law enforcement is urged to stay vigilant.
