Popular Nigerian influencer and activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has disclosed that he holds more incriminating evidence against crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky. In a recent Instagram post, VeryDarkMan hinted at releasing another voice note, asserting that the matter involves high-profile figures, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service. He has called for a full investigation, also mentioning human rights lawyer Femi Falana and musician Falz in the mix.

This controversy heated up after Femi Falana, through his lawyers, issued a 24-hour ultimatum demanding that VDM retract statements linking him to Bobrisky’s alleged Federal Government pardon. In response, VDM clarified that he did not intend to defame Falana but merely expressed skepticism about the claims in Bobrisky’s voice note. Falana has firmly denied ever engaging in any discussion with Bobrisky or being involved in securing his pardon.

The saga initially erupted after VDM shared a voice note where Bobrisky reportedly claimed his “godfather” arranged for him to serve his sentence in a private apartment, with talks of a pardon being facilitated by Falana and Falz for a fee of ₦10 million. Falana’s legal team has refuted this, stating unequivocally that no such conversation ever took place.

VDM has since stated that he will continue to release further evidence as the controversy unfolds, insisting that only a deep investigation can reveal the truth behind these claims.
