He criticized the ruling party for its mistreatment of non-indigenous people, despite having many non-indigenous members within its own ranks, including its leader, who is rumored to be a non-indigene.
He expressed his belief that the current situation is driven by political motivations, particularly the desire to secure electoral victories.
He remained optimistic that positive changes would eventually take place in both Nigeria and Lagos State, leading to improved conditions for non-indigenous residents.
He said, “We have a lot of non-indigenes in Lagos State that make the state to be what it is today. We even learnt that the governor (Sanwo-Olu) is not from Lagos State. Yet, they are maligning, and maltreating non-indigenes all in the name of trying to win elections. I know that sooner than later, things will change in Nigeria; things will change in Lagos State.”
