The former governor said that as an engineer, he did not see the project as a renovation but as a “Tsunami”.
The former governor said that in 2007, when leaving office, he ensured all his property were removed from the government house, knowing that he would not be visiting the seat of power.
Muazu said that he visited the government 17 years after the expiration of his two terms in office when he decided to pay a condolence visit to Governor Bala Mohammed, who lost his stepmother.
“He invited me to the Government House and conducted me round the newly built structures.”
He commended Mohammed for the giant strides which he said has brought pride to the entire state.
The project was commissioned by Vice President, Kashim Shettima and six governors from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe.
