Andrey Santos loan set to be discussed

He found the net in the last minute of their latest Ligue 1 game to pick up al three points, and Romano has claimed on Twitter that there are already talks scheduled over his future.

He said: “Chelsea are very happy with Andrey Santos development as he scored key goal in injury time vs Metz. He’s also been voted POTM for April after his performances at Strasbourg.

“New loan to the BlueCo club will be discussed with player and agents soon.”

Santos joined the club with a lot of fanfare last summer, and was one of the biggest names they brought in when it comes to their model for the future.

Chelsea close to agreeing Estevao Willian fee

They could be about to add to this in the coming days with his countryman, Estevao Willian, who the club have already reportedly agreed personal terms with.

While a fee still needs to be agreed between the two clubs, the Blues are big favourites to pull off a deal at this stage.
