Usifo accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of exacerbating hardships for Nigerians. He questioned the whereabouts of opposition parties such as the PDP, Labour Party, and NNPP in the National Assembly, emphasizing the need for them to speak out against policies that burden the populace.

He criticized the lack of transparency in the legislative process, highlighting the absence of public hearings or advertisements regarding bills such as the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) (Amendment) Act 2024. According to Usifo, organized labor was not adequately consulted during the passage of this legislation.
